Who I am and what I can change myself? Basics of personal development

This is the text of the three dimensions of life and development: bodily, mental and spiritual. Each of them describe and I give directions of their own work. I know the difference between what we can change, from what can not be changed. I point to the special "place" in the soul, which we call the heart and the intellect, and which are not within our control. The heart is somehow our "essence." I differentiate them from feelings that situate the sensual dimension. The text is written in understandable and simple language. It contains the basics of classical anthropology.

Road to Truth

In this book I make a review of the views of some philosophers, from Socrates to Friedrich Nietzsche. I use the fragments important for me texts that quote, and then comment on. For the keynote of each of them I accept the search against the author for Truth.
I wrote a book accessible to the average reader language and can be treated as a philosophical story, serving broadening erudition and deeper reflection. The original purpose of my work on this book was to complement the curriculum of philosophy at the levels of primary and secondary schools katolickich. The book was published in Gostynin in 2010.

Book Fri. The road to truth is a kind of manual for supplemental teaching philosophy (level of high school and the Lyceum). It includes a short presentation of the individual authors (Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Epicurus, Marcus Aurelius, Sextus Empiricus, Cicero, Plotinus, St. Augustine, St. Thomas, Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Feuerbach, Nietzsche), fragments of their works, as well as comments them. Does not seek consistent presentation of views and does not try to reflect them. The selection of texts rather determines the depth of the theological and metaphysical perspective that most fully reveals human nature. Commenting shots are directed to read the truth about its author, the manner of his thinking and - expressed explicitly or not - the pursuit of his heart. 299 pages Format: 14.8 cm x 21 cm. Reasons for the soul

In this book I'm writing about the 3 dimensions of the human soul: vegetative, sensory and mental. All they describe and distinguish from each other. The basis of the contents of this are the works of philosophers: Aristotle's treatise Fri. On the soul and the comment of Thomas Aquinas to the treaty. It is intended for students and graduates of philosophy and humanities, as well as all interested parties who would like to deal with the specialist philosophical terminology.
The book is a printed version of my doctoral dissertation. The book was published in Warsaw in 2004.
186 pages. Format: 21.59 cm x 27.94 cm. File: Adobe Acrobat pdf.

Book Fri. Causes of the soul is an improved version of the doctoral thesis written and defended at the Department of Ancient and Medieval Philosophy ATK in Warsaw in 1997.
From Review prof. Dobrochny Dembinski - Siury: The hearing is an analysis of the problems of metaphysical commentary St. Thomas the text of Aristotle's "On the soul" and she just is the main content of the work. Especially high should be assessed ambition authors deal with the important and difficult text in which St. Tomasz its consideration refers to the rich traditions of ancient times and in which more than once strenuously need to distinguish between his views and the views of those with whom we discussed, or on which it relies. With this task the author has complied with complete success: the work is a very careful and thorough analysis of Thomas's text, with remarkable accuracy representing the views of St. Thomas on the soul with their clear reference to the tradition of Aristotle and balance carefully on how this tradition remain consistent, as well as on the go.
From Review prof. Mieczyslaw Gogacz: The hearing is not only a thorough and careful presentation obtained by the St. Thomas understandings of Aristotle, but also merge these understandings and submitting them to the theme of the act of existence. Understanding in itself a great Aristotle, moreover, the subject circuits act of existence, taken with the thought of St. Augustine. Thomas, make comments to the treaty "On the soul" Aristotle consistent study of the metaphysical theme tackled soul. At the same time they bring Polish culture rich formula of realistic philosophical anthropology, which is the genesis of the Aristotelian and faithful to the theme of the human soul and emphasized the enrichment Thomistic. The dissertation shows both of these trends, and thus the beauty of Thomism penetrating and transferee Aristotelism. There would be no Aristotelian Thomism, and he himself Aristotelism without incorporation in on the act of existence would not be the full truth about man, which inform the historian of philosophy and the history of Averroism formula.

The development of views on the human soul

Written in accessible language for the average reader, for many years the subject of contests of philosophical knowledge for high school students.
